Coronavirus-Related Deaths In Meadowbrook Continue To Rise
The Bolingbrook nursing home now has 40 deaths and 188 outbreaks.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Meadowbrook Manor, a nursing home in Bolingbrook, reported two more deaths as of Friday, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
The facility currently has 40 coronavirus-related deaths, the highest in Illinois among any other long-term care facility.
As of Friday, it also has 188 cases — the highest in Will County — surpassing Symphony of Joliet, which a few weeks ago had the most cases and deaths. According to IDPH, the Joliet facility reported a total 132 outbreaks and 25 deaths.

At nursing homes in Will County there are 143 deaths and Meadowbrook makes up 27 percent of all deaths in the county.
Among the residents and staff in all the long-term care facilities in the state, the IDPH reports a total of 17,098 cases and 2,744 deaths.
