Multi-Car Crash Closes Route 126 In Plainfield: Police
Two people were hospitalized with injuries following the Tuesday morning crash, Illinois State Police said.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Multiple cars crashed Tuesday morning at Route 126 and Golden Lane in Plainfield, according to Illinois State Police.
ISP Troop 3 was dispatched at 7:39 a.m. to the multi-car crash involving a commercial vehicle. Two people were taken to an area hospital with injuries, Trooper Josh Robinson told Patch.
Route 126 is shut down between Route 59 and Interstate 55, Plainfield police said in a post on Facebook just after 8 a.m. As of 9:30 a.m., the northeast lanes remain closed, but the southwest lanes have reopened.
