PLAINFIELD, IL — An ex-Plainfield Township trustee was among the supporters of former President Donald Trump present at the first session of the Republication National Convention, according to reports from the Washington Post.

Debbie Kraulidis, who also served on the Will Board until 2022, delivered the Pledge of Allegiance to kick off the first day of the convention Monday in Milwaukee. The event took place two days after Trump was injured in what the FBI called an attempted assassination during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

Currently serving as vice president for Moms For America, Kraulidis interviewed Trump in late 2023 for the organization's Presidential Candidate Podcast Special.
