District 202 Announces 2020-21 School Year Calendar

PLAINFIELD, IL — The District 202 Board of Education on Monday approved the 2020-2021 school year calendar. Here is when the school district has scheduled the first day of school and other major events.

The first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 19 of next year, according to the school district. The tentative last day of school will be May 27, 2021, if no snow or emergency days are used. If all five snow/emergency days are used, June 4th, 2021, with be the last day of school.

Teachers will start next school year on Aug. 17. Thanksgiving break will be Wednesday, Nov. 25 through Friday, Nov. 27. Winter break will be from Dec. 21-Jan. 4. Spring break will be from March 29-April 7.
