Durbin's Hosting Benefit for Local Military Support Group
Homes 4 Heroes works to help improve the lives of military veterans.

Dubin’s in Plainfield will host America Fest this Friday to Sunday to benefit Homes 4 Heroes.
The festival will include music, games and a family fun day on Sunday, according to Durbin’s website. Sponsored by Bud Light, the weekend kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday. At 8 p.m. Metallica tribute band Blackened takes the stage.
Saturday’s festivities start at noon with Easy Rider & Soul Motion, a 2 p.m. live broadcast from Star 96.7, a 4 p.m. show from Marina City and the 8 p.m. main event — Too White Crew.

Sunday’s family fun day includes an appearance from White Sox mascot Southpaw and performances by The G Brothers (2 p.m.) and a 4 p.m. dual performance by School of Rock and Second Nature.
According to their website, Homes 4 Heroes is “a charitable organization, donates a wide range of services at no charge to allow our (military) heroes to properly access and use their homes.”
