Forest Preserve District To Close Wednesday And Thursday

All Forest Preserve District of Will County visitor centers, preserves and trails will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.

WILL COUNTY, IL — Due to predictions of extremely frigid temperatures and dangerous wind chill factors, all Forest Preserve visitor centers, preserves and trails will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 30, and Thursday, Jan. 31, according to a news release.

Officials say the closures have been instituted to keep patrons and employees safe during the unusually dangerous weather conditions.

Forest Preserve District buildings, preserves and trails will reopen at regularly scheduled times on Friday, Feb. 1. Stay up-to-date with the latest information by following the Will County Forests on Facebook.
