Garbage Collection Earlier This Week Due To Extreme Heat: Village
Peak heat index values are forecast to be between 100-105 degrees this week in the Chicagoland area.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Garbage collection times will shift slightly this week in Plainfield due to the extreme heat in the weather forecast.
Waste Management will begin service in Plainfield early on Wednesday and Thursday, officials said Monday. Residents are asked to place refuse, recycling and yard waste at the curb by 5 a.m. on both days.
Monday's high is 97, with a peak index value of 105. For the rest of the week, peak heat index values of 100 degrees are possible. Tuesday will have a high of 93, Wednesday a high of 95 and Thursday a high of 97 degrees.
