PLAINFIELD, IL — A gas leak has caused the closed Heritage Meadows Drive in Plainfield Thursday. The street is slated to be closed for several hours Thursday afternoon, according to Plainfield Police.

Police at around 3 p.m. Thursday closed Heritage Meadows Drive between Pear Tree Circle and Pasquinelli Drive. The closure was expected to last for "several hours," according to police.
