Missing, Endangered Woman Found Safe: Crest Hill PD

Kari Simonic, 25, was located on Saturday.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Crest Hill police said a woman reported as "missing and endangered" was found safe on Saturday. Early Saturday morning, police issued an alert saying Kari Simonic was last seen at around 2 a.m. Saturday walking eastbound from the area of Oakland Avenue and the railroad crossing south of Caton Farm Road.

On Facebook, a relative said Simonic wasn't wearing a coat and did not have her phone, adding, "We are all worried sick."

"The missing person from Crest Hill has been located and is safe," police said in an alert just before 11 a.m. "Thank you to everyone for your help during this incident."
