Driver Killed In Crash Near County Line Road, Route 126: Plainfield FD
The driver was the only person in the car, which was heavily damaged in the collision, Plainfield fire officials said.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A driver died as a result of a crash Friday morning near County Line Road and Route 126, according to the Plainfield Fire Protection District.
One car had veered off the road and came to rest in a wooded area, first responders determined when they arrived on the scene at about 7:43 a.m.
The driver was the only person in the car, which was heavily damaged in the crash, officials said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
