Man, 28, Safely Located After Being Reported Missing Wednesday: Plainfield PD

PLAINFIELD, IL — A 28-year-old man who was reported missing Wednesday has been safely located, Plainfield police said in an update.

Officials first shared a post on Facebook Wednesday afternoon asking for the community's help locating the man who was reported missing after he was last seen in the area of Naperville Road and 135th Street. Officials provided the update about his safety later that evening.

"He is no longer considered to be in danger," police said. "We sincerely thank everyone in the community who shared our post, called in tips, or kept an eye out. Your support made a difference."
