No Leads On Dine-And-Dash Turned Into Hit-And-Run Crash: Plainfield PD
After leaving Buffalo Wild Wings without paying, the driver of a Dodge exited the lot and crashed into a car before fleeing, police said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A dine-and-dash incident at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Plainfield turned into an unresolved hit-and-run crash on St. Patrick's Day, according to police.
The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. March 17 around Route 59 and 119th Street.
After arriving to the area, officers met with the person who phoned 911, the driver of a Honda Accord. The Honda was headed south on Route 59, approaching the intersection with 119th Street when a silver Dodge Journey with an unknown temporary license plate exited the side drive near Buffalo Wild Wings and crashed into the sedan, Commander Anthony Novak told Patch on Thursday.

The Dodge fled without stopping and drove westbound on 119th Street at a high rate of speed. No injuries were reported, Novak said.
The officer handling the investigation determined the driver and passenger of the Dodge visited the Buffalo Wild Wings and left without paying prior to the crash, Novak confirmed.

Novak said attempts to identify either person were unsuccessful, and the investigation was closed as a result.
