Guy proudly served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent many years delivering beer in the trucking industry, taking pride in hard work and responsibility. He cherished his family above all else, especially his grandkids who were the center of his world. For the last 69 years, he carried his wedding picture in his wallet, a quiet testament to the love and devotion he held for his wife. He loved watching a good cowboy movie, and every Saturday, he made his weekly trip to the neighborhood bakeries to pick out sweets for the weekend.

Guy is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Betty Elizabeth; his children, Vickie Ross, Judith (Keenan) Martin, Steve Ross, and Susan (Dwight) Jackson; grandchildren, Josh, Emily, Steven, Robin, Hadiya, Justice, and Mackenzie, and several great-grandchildren.
