Plainfield Anti-Bully Meets Cubs' Kyle Schwarber
Ayden Cazares had been hoping to meet his favorite player as the anniversary of his heart surgery approached.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Nearly a year after he recorded a special message consoling Cubs' outfielder Kyle Schwarber on the team's loss to the Rockies, Plainfield second-grader Ayden Cazares finally got his wish: an in-person meeting with his hero.
Monday's meeting came a year after Ayden underwent surgery for a congenital heart defect.

A year ago, after also facing bullying from classmates, then 6-year-old Ayden had just undergone heart surgery. But he came back stronger, launching his own Facebook page to fight bullying and grant the birthday wishes of other kids.
