Plainfield Athletic Club President Charged With Theft Not Talking
Michael Ruscitti's case is active in the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in DuPage County.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The president of the Plainfield Athletic Club is accused of stealing cash from the Lexus of Naperville car dealership, according to court and police records. On Nov. 19, 2018, Michael Ruscitti was charged with theft between $100,000 and $500,000 in DuPage County. He pleaded not guilty to the charge Dec. 17, 2018.
Ruscitti, who currently lives in the Village of Plainfield, did not respond to Patch's attempts to reach him via phone and email.
Naperville Police Cmdr. Mike Son said in an email that the thefts occurred between July 2016 and April 2018.

Annette Wynne, executive vice president for the club, said she has no comment but asked Patch not to speak to the board about Ruscitti's arrest.
“I ask that you do not reach out to any of our board members,” she said.

Sean Lavery, the club’s vice president of softball, did not respond to requests for comment.
According to its website, the Plainfield Athletic Club is a program that aims to “promote responsibility, respect, teamwork, leadership, dedication, hard-work, hustle and sportsmanship.”
Ruscitti’s case is currently active in the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in DuPage County.
Ruscitti has a May 14 court date and is required to appear, according to court records.
