Plainfield Coronavirus Update: 29 Cases Confirmed; No Deaths

At the latest count, Plainfield reported 29 cases of new coronavirus, but no confirmed recoveries or deaths.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Police continue to update their daily tracker of new coronavirus cases in the village, using data from the Kendall and Will County Health Departments. At the latest count, there have been 29 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the village, with no confirmed deaths and one confirmed recovery.

At the latest count, there have been 12,264 confirmed coronavirus cases in Illinois, 368,533 cases in the country, and 1,363,365 cases globally.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is now advising that everyone wear a face covering when outside the home; this is especially important when in spaces where social distancing is difficult, such as at work or in the supermarket.
