Plainfield East Band Takes Fundraiser 'To The Mats'

The one-day event will transform the high school into a mattress showroom, with each sale benefitting the band.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Is your mattress looking a little shabby? Feeling a little lumpy? Well, the Plainfield East High School Band is here to help. The group will be hosting a mattress fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For one day only, according to a news release, the school will be transformed into a mattress showroom as the band takes their fundraiser "to the mats."

Officials say there will be more than 25 styles of mattress on offer, in all sizes, with adjustable power bases, premium pillows, bed frames and mattress protectors for sale as well. Some brands, like Simmons Beautyrest, are made to order and will be available two to three weeks after the fundraiser. They come with full factory warranties and delivery is available.

The Plainfield East Band will benefit from every purchase, officials said.
