Plainfield Firefighters Conduct Training Along Des Plaines River
"No emergency is occurring, just training," officials said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Fire Protection District is conducting training Monday along the Des Plaines River and at a few ponds near Van Dyke Road.
If residents and passersby see fire trucks, equipment and personnel in action, there is no need to worry: “No emergency is occurring, just training,” officials wrote in a Facebook post.
“Big thanks to our fire partners for always staying ready!” the post read.
