District officials announced Friday that they will only offer curbside pickup and online services going forward.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Public Library District will not offer any person services starting Monday amid the coronavirus surge. District officials announced Friday that they will only offer curbside pickup and online services going forward.
This is being done in accordance with Gov. J.B. Pritzker's Tier 3 coronavirus mitigations.
"We encourage our community to stay at home in accordance with recommendations from the Illinois Department of Public Health and Governor Pritzker," the district wrote in an email to Patch. "We will continue to closely monitor local and state recommendations and adjust accordingly."
