Plainfield Officials Ask Residents to 'Chat With the Chiefs'
Mark your calendars for a candid and fruitful Q&A with local officials.

It's not every day that residents have the opportunity to engage local law and fire officials in candid conversations.
But an upcoming “Chat with the Chiefs” open forum set for Wednesday, Oct. 26 will give them the chance to do just that. The question-and-answer gathering hosted by Plainfield Fire Chief Dave Riddle, Oswego Fire Chief Mike Veseling, and Plainfield Police Chief John Konopek, aims to " allow the public to hear about happenings" within the departments, according to a news release. Residents should plan to show up to 23748 W. 135th St. starting at 7 p.m.
"Each meeting includes safety messages that the attendees can use to enhance their preparedness and awareness," officials said in a news release.
