Plainfield Police Looking To Hire Part-Time Crossing Guard
The Plainfield Police Department said they're looking for a new part-time traffic guard in the village.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Police Department is currently seeking applicants for a part-time crossing guard position. The selected candidate will be responsible for guarding street crossings during hours when children are going to and coming from school.
Hours would be Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. during school days. All Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, and have a high school degree or GED and a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
Applicants must also be able to pass a work-related physical exam, drug screen, and background check. Starting rate of pay is $18.88 per hour.
