Plainfield Police Reports: DUIs, Domestic Battery

PLAINFIELD, IL – Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Daniel Villasenor, 44, of the 1800 block of Grove Avenue, Berwyn, was arrested April 22 for criminal defacement of property in the 14000 block of Coil Plus Drive.

Joseph M. Carey, 42, of the 300 block of Hunter Avenue, Joliet, was arrested March 7 for driving while license suspended/revoked at an undisclosed location.

Christopher Wober, 45, of the 3000 block of Heritage Drive, Joliet, was arrested April 2 for illegal use of a cellphone while driving in 14000 block of Route 59. Wober was also charged with improper display of registration, improper use of registration, no valid driver’s license and a violation of medical cannabis pilot program act.

Tracy Sandara Manuell, 51, of the 13000 block of Amherst Court, Plainfield, was arrested April 9 for driving while license suspended/revoked in the area of Route 59 and Chicago Street.

Matthew J. Cardwell, 24, 10000 block of Red Stabl Way, Naperville, was arrested April 16 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the area of Countryman Drive and Van Dyke Road.

Rashaun A. Griffin Shemwell, 24, of the 1900 block of Hampton Court, Plainfield, was arrested April 17 for driving under the influence of drugs in the area of Route 59 and Roberts Avenue. Griffin Shemwell was also charged with improper lane usage, possession of cannabis in the amount of 10 grams or less and speeding.

Angel Salas-orcon, 18, of the 400 block of Four Seasons Drive, Aurora, was arrested April 17 for possession of cannabis in the amount of 10 grams or less at Plainfield East High School.

Maurice O. Lumpkins, 31, of the 16000 block of Hazelwood Drive, Plainfield, was arrested April 18 for domestic battery in the 16000 block of Hazelwood Drive.

Tyler Holmes, 19, of the 7000 block of Creekside Drive, Plainfield, was arrested April 19 for possession of cannabis in the amount of 10 grams or less in the area of Route 30 and Dillman Street. Holmes was also charged with speeding.

Shelby M. Carter, 23, of the 24000 block of Patriot Square, Plainfield, was arrested April 21 for driving under the influence of a drug combo in the area of Drauden Road and Route 126. Carter was also charged with driving under the influence of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid accident, possession of cannabis in the amount of 10 grams or less and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Maria D. Hernandez, 33, of the 1400 block of Jonquil Terrace, Chicago, was arrested April 21 for driving while license suspended/revoked in the area of Drauden Road and Lockport Street.

Wesley A. Tihlarik, 38, of the 600 block of North Pinecrest Road, Bolingbrook, was arrested April 23 for illegal use of cellphone while driving in the area of Route 59 and Lockport Street. Tihlarik was also charged with in-state warrant, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.
