Plainfield Traffic Tip: Route 59 And Naperville Road

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield police released a tip as a part of their "Traffic Tip Tuesday" program, this time focusing on Naper/Plainfield Road at Route 59.

"Have you ever sat there a long time and the traffic light doesn't change?" police asked in a Facebook post.

Police say they often get calls about the light not changing. However, it's as simple as pulling all the way up to the white line, which is where the sensor is located.

If the light still doesn't change after pulling all the way up to the line, then police say to call them at 815-436-2341.
