PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield woman will be featured on the newest season of WTTW's "Check Please!," a show where Chicagoland residents meet to discuss their favorite local restaurants. On Oct. 25, Plainfield's Keisha Rembert will discuss one of her favorite spots.

Rembert, an educational consultant, will appear on the show to discuss Pacific Standard Time, an acclaimed River North restaurant focused on the produce-forward cuisine of California. Her episode of the show will also include discussions of the North Side's Finom Coffee, the first time a coffeehouse will be featured on the show. Evanston's Peppercorn's Kitchen will also be discussed on the episode.

Rembert's episode will be the show's season debut. Now in its 19th season, the Emmy-winning "Check Please!" hosts a group of everyday Chicago-area residents who discuss eachother's favorite restaurants. The show is hosted by Alpana Singh, a restaurateur and sommelier, who returned to the show last year and is celebrating her 12th season as host.
