PLAINFIELD, IL — A 34-year-old Bourbonnais man died early Sunday after a rollover crash near Plainfield, the Will County coroner's office reported. Officials identified the victim as William J. Jordan, who was driving a vehicle when it left the roadway on northbound I-55 near Plainfield, hit the median wall and overturned. The crash happened near milepost 261, the coroner's office said.
Illinois State Police said Jordan was driving a 1997 Buick Park Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons.
Jordan was pronounced dead at 3:35 a.m. at the AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center Bolingbrook emergency room.
