Scholarship Fund Established In Memory Of Tyler Dufour
The fund will benefit other law enforcement students at Joliet Junior College.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A week after his death, a law enforcement scholarship fund has been established in memory of Plainfield Community Service Officer Tyler Dufour, a JJC student and Minooka high school graduate. On Friday, Plainfield police thanked the community for the outpouring of support in the wake of Dufour's death, adding, "In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Tyler’s name be made to a law enforcement scholarship at Joliet Junior College."
Donations should be made to the JJC Foundation, 1215 Houbolt Road, Joliet, IL 60431. Donors should be sure to specify the Tyler Dufour Law Enforcement Memorial Scholarship.
Tyler's loved ones have also created a memorial wristband fundraiser, with proceeds going to the scholarship. Tyler Dufour Law Enforcement Memorial Scholarship wristbands can be purchased for $6 each via Facebook.
