School District 202 To Serve Student Meals Despite School Closure

Grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals will be available for pick up at select District 202 locations.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield Community School District 202 announced over the weekend that it would continue serving meals for students in the district despite the governor-mandated, COVID-19 precautionary school closures. These meals will be available as grab-and-go lunches on school days at Plainfield high schools from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 12 to 1 p.m.

Parents and guardians can pick the lunches up at the high school closest to their children's elementary or middle school:

  • Plainfield South High School, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road (Enter through Door N)
    • Ridge, Charles Reed, Meadow View, Thomas Jefferson Elementary Schools; Aux Sable, Drauden Point Middle Schools
  • Plainfield North High School, 12005 S. 248th Street (Enter through Door N)
    • Freedom, Eagle Pointe, Lincoln, Walker's Grove Elementary Schools; Heritage Grove, Ira Jones Middle Schools
  • Plainfield High School-Central Campus, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive (Enter through Door L)
    • Central, Riverview, Wesmere, Grand Prairie, Crystal Lawns, Creekside Elementary Schools; Timber Ridge, Indian Trail Middle Schools; Plainfield Academy, Bonnie McBeth Learning Center, Ina Brixey Learning Center
  • Plainfield East High School, 12001 S. Naperville Road (Enter Through Door N)
    • Eichelberger, Liberty, Creekside, Lakewood Falls Elementary Schools; John F. Kennedy Middle School

If you are unable to pick up a meal, you may call district Food Services at (815) 577-4046 to make alternate arrangements.
