PLAINFIELD, IL — District 202 will screen the movie “Suicide – The Ripple Effect” at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the auditorium at Plainfield South High School, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road, Plainfield.

This free event is open to the community. It’s presented by the District 202 Plainfield Parent Community Network (PPCN).

The movie features Kevin Hines, who is one of only 36 people to survive jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Hines was attempting to take his own life but says that he realized immediately that he’d made a terrible mistake. Now, he uses his story to help others find hope and stay alive.
