Summer Art Program Planned At Plainfield East High School
Students will learn techniques in painting, drawing, clay and mixed media during the four-day-long summer camp.
PLAINFIELD, IL — Plainfield East High School will host a summer art camp from June 23-26 for children ages 4-13.
At Summer Art Studio, campers will learn techniques in painting, drawing, clay and mixed media.
Two sessions will be offered, one from 9-11 a.m. and another from 1-3 p.m. Students can sign up for either session in one of three groups: ages 4-6, 7-9, and 10-13.

The same material will be taught in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Students will keep the artwork they make.
Admission costs $100 to cover supplies and t-shirts. Proceeds will benefit Plainfield East's National Art Honor Society Scholarship.
