Teen Airlifted In Critical Condition After Plainfield Motorcycle Crash: Fire Dept
A motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a vehicle on 248th Street.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A motorcyclist was airlifted to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove Wednesday afternoon after a crash on 248th Avenue, Plainfield Fire Chief Jon Stratton told Patch.
Stratton said the male motorcyclist, who he believed to be a teenager, was involved in a collision with a vehicle carrying two other teens just after 2 p.m. He said the teens appeared to have been leaving Plainfield North High School prior to the crash.
The motorcyclist was in critical condition. Stratton said the two teens in the vehicle refused medical treatment at the scene.

In an email sent to parents, Plainfield North Principal Ross Draper said no Plainfield North students were injured in the crash, which involved "an individual passing through the area." He said the crash happened on 248th Avenue behind the PNSH stadium.
Plainfield police said 248th Avenue was closed between 119th Street and 127th Street during the crash investigation.
