Tuesday Found: Dog Reunited with Batavia Family

The Garcia Family, formerly of Plainfield, were reunited with Tuesday on Saturday morning.

Early Saturday morning, the Garcia family got the news they had been waiting for. Someone had found Tuesday.

“The neighbor found her,” Sara Doss Garcia said. “We didn’t even know we were neighbors. She called the number on his tag.”

Tuesday had gone missing on Wednesday morning.

The neighbor told Garcia something amazing. Tuesday, a 70 pound Labarador Retriever/Border Collie mix was in the neighbor’s window well.

“They said that this morning, about 5 oclock in the morning they heard baking and they did not know what it was so they just ignored it because they thought it was the neighbor,” Gracia said.

But then the barking did not stop and sounded like a wimper, so the neighbor went to investigate. When he went downstairs, he saw Tuesday in the window well.

“She’s so healthy, I don’t think she was in the window well that long,” Garcia said. “There is no way she could have bee in the window well for three days, not with the cold we have had.”

The 4-year-old dog, who had been adopted from Cache Creek Animal Rescue, was reuinted with Sara, her husband Tom and children Mazzie, 12, Cella, 10 and Inocencio, 9.
