Woman Asleep In Casey's Lot Was Drinking And Driving: Plainfield PD
Police were called to the general store on South Route 59 after someone called to report a woman asleep in her car in the parking lot.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A woman found asleep in a car parked in a business's lot on May 25 was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after she refused to provide a breath sample, according to Plainfield police.
At about 10:59 p.m., officers were dispatched to Casey's General Store, 14808 S. Route 59, to conduct a welfare check on a woman who a caller said appeared asleep slumped over the center console. The person reported attempting to knock on the window to wake her but was unsuccessful, Commander Anthony Novak told Patch.
When officers arrived, they found the woman, identified as Jessica Floros, sitting in the driver's seat of a black Cadillac Escalade parked near the entrance to Casey's. She awoke after police made several attempts to wake her.

An officer noticed a strong alcoholic odor emitting from the car and that Floros, while speaking, was unaware of where she was and slurred her words, according to Novak.
Requested to complete Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Floros refused. She also declined to provide a breath sample while at the Plainfield Police Department, Novak said.

Officers arrested her based on probable cause and charged her with driving under the influence of alcohol before releasing her, according to Novak.
