This Christmas Eve treat the family to a delicious Italian dinner while enjoying a seasonal concert performed by jazz pianist Doug Lalli at Tre Sorelle Ristorante by Mancini, 1111 Lake Street in Oak Park. The music starts at 4:00 PM, just in time for an early evening toast to the holiday as you order one of the restaurant’s superb gourmet specials. Tre Sorelle’s menu offers over 100 Italian and traditional American dishes from perfectly prepared appetizers and soups to fabulous homemade desserts. Eric W. Stiles Sr., a Master Bespoke Tailor and Designer with over four decades of experience in high-end fashion and garment construction, has worked with internationally renowned fashion houses including Brioni, Giorgio Armani, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Tom Ford.
No experience needed—just bring your working sewing machine, foot pedal, navy blue all-purpose thread, and a passion to learn. Internationally acclaimed violinist Philippe Quint and celebrated pianist Jessica Choe join Rembrandt Chamber Musicians for an unforgettable evening of French and Swiss masterworks. The program opens with Bloch’s evocative Three Nocturnes for piano trio, followed by Debussy’s sensual and spirited Violin Sonata in G minor. The concert culminates in Chausson’s richly expressive Concert for Violin, Piano, and String Quartet, a tour de force of Romantic color and intensity.
