• Riverside passes local e-bikes ordinance (rblandmark.com) — Riverside has tightened its rules on e-bikes and scooters, setting age limits for different vehicle classes and banning them from sidewalks to improve safety. Adults and teens will still be able to ride many devices under the new ordinance, but parents are urged to check the updated village code before buying holiday gifts so kids don’t end up with something they can’t legally use.
