2023 Football Schedule Released For Romeoville High School

ROMEOVILLE, IL — With the approach of the start of the school year, high school football season will also soon begin. A nine-game regular season will run through the end of October before the postseason culminates with state championship games scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25 at Illinois State University, according to IHSA.

Schools in Romeoville's conference this year include Joliet Central, Joliet West, Plainfield Central, Plainfield East and Plainfield South. Next year, Romeoville's sister school Bolingbrook High School will join the conference.

Here's a look at Romeoville's 2023-24 regular season, per IHSA:

• Aug. 25, 7 p.m., at Oak Lawn Community High School
• Sept. 1, 7 p.m., Tinley Park at home
• Sept. 8, 7 p.m., at West Aurora
• Sept. 15, 7 p.m., Minooka at home
• Sept. 22, 7 p.m., at Plainfield South
• Sept. 29, 7 p.m., at Plainfield Central
• Oct. 6, 7:30 p.m., Joliet West at home
• Oct. 13, 7 p.m., Joliet Central at home
• Oct. 20, 7 p.m., at Plainfield East

Romeoville is coached by Justin Trovato, and went 1-8 last season.
