3-Car Crash In Romeoville On Monday : Police
The occupants of two vehicles were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — A three-vehicle crash occurred in Romeoville Monday, according to village police.
Romeoville Police Department Deputy Chief Brant Hromadka said officers were sent to the area of Independence Boulevard on Route 53 and Ridgewood Avenue at 12:05 p.m.
A Chevrolet Trailblazer was facing westbound on Ridgewood Avenue waiting for traffic to clear and make a left turn on southbound Independence Boulevard. The vehicle proceeded to cross the intersection when it was struck by a Mercedes traveling southbound on Independence Boulevard, Hromadka said.

"The impact forced the Chevrolet to turn on its side. The Mercedes then veered to the right, striking a third vehicle, Honda HRV, forcing the Honda to strike the median and come to rest on the roof of the vehicle," he said.
The occupants of the Trailblazer and the Honda HRV were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash is still under investigation and no charges have been made.
