Preserve your Life Stories at a Memoir Writing Workshop

ROMEOVILLE Bring Your Scrapbooks to Life with a story. Romeoville Recreation Department is offering for the first time a Memoir Writing Workshop; remember that everyone has a story to tell. This is an opportunity to preserve your stories about  growing up, coming of age, military experience, careers and more. Featured are two workshops—the first is for Seniors and runs from 9:30 a.m. till noon, and the second is for Adults age 18 and up; it runs from 6:30-9 p.m. Both will be held at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road, Romeoville, IL, on Feb. 15 and Feb. 22..  To register, call Romeoville Recreation Department at: (815) 886.6222.

The workshop will be led by professional writer Ann C. Piasecki, MA, an award-winning journalist and college writing instructor.
