BYO To Go Bash Supports Sustainability Efforts At JJC Romeoville

Attendees can also learn about sustainability, gardening and composting practices from experts.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — State Representative Natalie Manley and Joliet Junior College have teamed up for the BYO to Go Bash on May 10.

Visitors can come to the JJC Romeoville Campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and receive a free plant for Mother's Day, two free sustainable and reusable takeout containers with a free student-designed tote bag (while supplies last, one plant and one free container/bag set per family), according to the event flyer.

Attendees can also learn about sustainability, gardening and composting practices from experts. The event encourages guests to take the Bring Your Own pledge and reduce plastic waste.
