Recent incidents reported by the Romeoville Police Department.

July 13: A criminal damage to property was reported in the 1900 block of Wheatfield. Unknown person(s) scratched body panels of two vehicles that were parked in the street.
July 30: A burglary was reported in the 1200 block of Lakeview Court. Unknown person(s) damaged a trailer door and took three tools with a total value of $8,280.
July 30: A theft of motor vehicle parts was reported in the 700 block of South Weber Road. Unknown person(s) cut off a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle.

July 31: A theft under $500 was reported in the 600 block of Forestwood. Unknown person(s) took both license plates from a parked vehicle.
Aug. 1: A theft of motor vehicle parts was reported in the 1200 block of Santa Fe Road. Unknown person(s) cut off a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle.

Aug. 4: A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 400 block of Healy. An unknown person entered a vehicle but was scared away by a neighbor. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
Aug. 7: A retail theft was reported in the 400 block of North Weber Road. An unknown person took several bottles of liquor from the business.
Aug. 8: A theft over $500 was reported in the 1100 block of West Normantown. Unknown person(s) took a hydraulic cylinder from a job site.
