Celebrate The New Year At Isle A La Cache

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Celebrate the new year, French-Canadian style, at Isle a la Cache museum on Jan. 13.

The museum will hold "Bonne Année: A New Year Celebration!" from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 13. The event is for those ages 6 and older, and is free. You can register online.

The program will share stories of the history of the French-Canadian fur trading industry in the area. There will also be crafts, warm drinks and a toasty fire, the preserve said.

The program takes place indoors.
