Cop On A Rooftop Planned Friday At Romeoville Dunkin' Locations

Romeoville officers will be at the Dunkin' locations at Route 53 and Normantown, and at 239 S. Weber Road.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Romeoville police officers will participate in Cop on a Rooftop, the annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Illinois, on Friday at the Romeoville Dunkin' locations at Route 53 and Normantown, and at 239 S. Weber Road.

This year is the 21st anniversary between Dunkin' and Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run. Each year, police officers staff Dunkin' locations, often standing on rooftops of the buildings, to support Special Olympics Illinois.

Romeoville officers will support the fundraiser again this year, from 5 a.m. to noon on May 17. Proceeds will benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

Guests who make a donation will receive a coupon for a free donut, according to the event website. If you donate $10 or more, you will receive a tumbler and a coupon for a free coffee.
