ROMEOVILLE, IL — Creamery, an ice cream and dessert shop with seven locations in the Chicagoland area, is opening its headquarters and event space in Romeoville, officials announced.

The company signed a lease to take over the building at 1211 Remington Blvd. Creamery won't sell ice cream at this location; instead, the 10,000-square-foot space will be home to corporate offices and catering operations. The building will also feature an event rental space called Remington Place, where users can bring food or cater from the Creamery.

Remington Place is already open for walkthroughs and bookings, village officials said.
