Aggravated Use of Weapon

Erik Chandler, 24, of 651 Second Ave. in Joliet, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. in the area of Weber Road and South Carillon Drive for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, illegal transportation of alcohol and no valid drivers license, police said. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Disobeying Traffic Control Device

Ann Chapa, 31, of 714 Yates in Romeoville was arrested at 9:40 a.m. by the Romeoville police in the area of Taylor and Southcreek Parkway for disobeying traffic control device, no valid drivers license and no insurance. A $2,500 recognizance bond was set.

July 16

Failure to Reduce Speed

Kierra Keyes, 20, of 1311 Ada St. in Joliet was arrested at 5:08 p.m. in the area of Naperville and Honeytree for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and no valid drivers license, police said. A $2,500 recognizance bond was set.

Leaving the Scene of the Accident

John Gray, 37, of 222 Fremont in Romeoville was arrested by the Romeoville police at 7:56 a.m. in the 300 block of Macon for leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. A $2,500 recognizance bond was set.
