'Destination' Mercedes-Benz Dealership To Open In Romeoville In 2024

ROMEOVILLE, IL — More than 20 acres of Romeoville real estate will be home to a new luxury car dealership after officials recently broke ground on a new Mercedes Benz showroom and sales space that is slated to open next year.

Mercedes-Benz will open a 40,000-square-foot, two-story dealership along Weber Road in 2024 after local officials and representatives from the auto manufacturer broke ground on the property last week. The dealership will be built on 23 acres between Airport Road and Gaskin Drive, just south of Blain’s and The Bluffs.

The dealership will feature a showroom, sales area, lounge, and office space and will be constructed mostly of glass, the village announced. The glass design allows for a highly visible, expansive showroom and a unique roof design.

“Car dealerships are destinations and we look forward to welcoming new customers and being able to offer high-quality vehicles like Mercedes-Benz in Romeoville,” Mayor John Noak said in a news release.

Mercedes-Benz of Romeoville is part of the Fields Auto Group and owners said that the village is the perfect location for a new dealership because of its location and family-friendly customer back, Fields Auto officials said.

The new Mercedes dealership will be the second new car showroom and sales space located along Weber Road in Romeoville.
