Domestic Battery, Drug Possession, Warrants: Romeoville PD Blotter
The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests involving local residents and a variety of criminal charges.

ROMEOVILLE, IL The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week involving local residents and a variety of criminal offenses.
Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Rosendo Ortega, 29, Romeoville, was arrested on June 3 and charged with aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Ainoras Paukstys, 30, Romeoville, was arrested on June 6 and charged with battery. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.

David Barajas Oritz 37, Montogomery, was arrested on June 7 on an in-state warrant and cited for driving with an expired registration. Bond was set at $682.50.
Miles Afriyie 22, Bolingbrook, was arrested on June 8 on an in-state warrant and cited for speeding, and driving while his license is suspended. He was held on $6,000 bond for the warrant on released on $2,500 personal recognizance for the citations.
Andre Linear, 24, Bolingbrook, was arrested on in-state warrants on June 8 and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and driving while his license was suspended. Bond was set at $10,000 for the warrants and he was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Michael Funches, 32, Bolingbrook, was arrested on June 9 on in-state warrants and charged with criminal damage to property, obstructing identification, and resisting or obstructing an officer. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Ryan Moore, 24, Joliet, was arrested on June 9 and charged with aggravated speeding and driving while his license was suspended. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Ramiro Esquivel, 42, Romeoville, was arrested on June 10 and charged with violation of an order of protection. He was taken to Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Joseph Sanzeri, 27, 302, Romeoville, was arrested on June 10 and charged with domestic battery. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Derrick Golden, 44, Plainfield, was arrested on June 13 on in-state warrants. Bond was set at $5,000 with 10 percent to apply.
Robert Garber, 44, Romeoville, was arrested on June 14 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of adult-use cannabis, and use of electronic communication. He was taken to Will County Adult Detention Facility.
