DUI, Battery, Theft, Traffic Violations: Romeoville Police Blotter
The Romeoville Police Department made a series of recent arrests and charged local residents with a variety of criminal offenses.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week, charging local residents with a variety of crimes.
Criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and all suspects defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Jamal Bruce, 26, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. on July 10 in the area of Zinnia Drive and Airport Road and charged with failure to reduce speed/accident, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without insurance, and failure to report an accident. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.
David Quintana, 31, Romeoville, was arrested at 11:03 p.m. on July 12 in the 0-100 block of Belmont and charged with battery. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply.

Carol Crocker, 55, Romeoville, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on July 14 in the area of Claire and Romeo and charged with improper stopping and parking on the roadway and DUI. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.
Sonny Costello, 32, Romeoville, was arrested at 11:41 p.m. on July 15 in the 600 block of Hamrick and charged with domestic battery, obstructing identification, theft, resisting /obstruction of a peace officer, and on in-state warrants. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Francis Velasquez Cabrera, 30, Aurora, was arrested at 11:38 a.m. on July 16 in the area of Weber Road and Carlow Drive and charged with failure to reduce speed / accident, driving while his license was suspended, driving with no insurance, improper use of an electronic device. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Jonathan Gonzalez, 18, Romeoville, was arrested at 2:16 p.m. on July 17 in the area of Taylor and Southcreek Parkway and charged with DUI, improper lane usage, and driving with no insurance. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.
Eric Martinez, 30, 123 Bolingbrook, was arrested at 8:27 p.m. on July 18 in the area of Route 53 and Taylor Road and charged with driving with an expired registration, driving while his license was revoked, and driving with no insurance. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Nelson Alarcon, 19, Aurora, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. on July 18 in the area of Naperville Road and Six Pines and charged with driving while his license was suspended and speeding. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.
Jazelle Smith, 34, Joliet, was arrested at 11:36 a.m. on July 19 in the area of Weber Road and I-55 and charged with failure to reduce speed / accident and driving while his license was revoked. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Alexis Reyes, 25, Crest Hill, was arrested at 10:44 p.m. on July 19 in the area of Weber Road and Normantown and charged with failure to reduce speed / accident, DUI, driving with no insurance, and illegal transportation of alcohol. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.
Leon Evans, 27, Chicago, was arrested at 4:40 a.m. on July 19 and charged in the area of Weber Road and I-55 and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and with no insurance. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Emmanuel Richmond, 22, North Aurora, was arrested at 5:55 a.m. on July 20 in the area of New Ave and 135th Street and charged with driving while his license was suspended, and failure to yield to a private drive. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.
David Alonso Rodriguez, 36, Romeoville, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. on July 19 in the 300 block of McKool and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on $120 personal recognizance. On 2:30 a.m. on July 20, Rodriguez was arrested again and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
