DUI, Eluding Police, Traffic Violations: Romeoville Police Blotter
The Romeoville Police Department made a number of arrests over the past week and charged residents in connection with a variety of offenses.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week involving a variety of criminal offenses.
Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Adan Soto Ruiz, 32, Romeoville, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on April 15 in the area of Weber Road and Airport and charged with speeding, driving while his license was suspended, and not being in possession of a valid driver's license. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.

Rudy Gonzalez, 35, Channahon, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. on April 15 in the area of Route 53 and Taylor Road and charged with aggravated speeding. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Brett Kantor, 26, Lemont, was arrested at 8:24 p.m. on April 24 in the area of Romeo Road and Frieh Drive and charged with speeding and driving while his license was suspended. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Thaddeus Piton, 48, Plainfield, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on April 15 in the 700 block of Normantown and charged with speeding and driving while his license was suspended. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply.
Eusebio Arreola, 40, Joliet, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. on April 15 in the area of Weber and Normantown Road and charged with failure to obey a traffic control device and driving with a suspended license. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply.
Desiree Aldrete, 19, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:18 p.m. on April 16 in the area of Tuscany and Tammany and charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and without a valid driver's license. She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Maythe Ocampo Cabrera, 26, Joliet, was arrested at 9:37 a.m. on April 18 in the area of Route 53 and Normantown Road and charged with driving with an expired registration, driving with no insurance, and without a valid driver's license. She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Michael Sergent, 42, Lockport, was arrested at 3:09 p.m. on April 19 in the area of Renwick and Route 53 and charged with driving while his license was revoked. He was transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Henry Lange, 66, Downers Grove, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. on April 17 in the area of Dalhart and Normantown and charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, DUI, driving without a valid driver's license, improper lighting, no insurance, aggravated speeding, driving while license revoked, possession of a stolen vehicle, obstructing identification, and on an in-state warrant. He was transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility
Juan Tellez, 22, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:08 p.m. on April 20 in the 2000 block of Wedgewood Circle on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $5,000 with 10 percent to apply.
Tyler Andrews, 27, Orland Park, was arrested at 8:41 p.m. on April 20 in the area of Weber and Normantown and charged with failure to yield the right of way and driving while his license was suspended. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Lori Montecinos ,18 , Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. April 21 in the 600 block of Weber Road and charged with failure to obey a traffic control device, improper lane usage, driving without a valid driver's license, and with no insurance. She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
