DUI, Resisting Arrest, Domestic Battery: Romeoville Police Blotter
Several local residents were arrested by Romeoville police over the past week and face a variety of criminal charges.
ROMEOVILLE, IL – The Romeoville Police Department made a series of arrests over the past week involving local residents who were charged with a variety of criminal offenses.
Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Brenda Ugarte, 32, Alsip, was arrested at 10:23 p.m. on May 13 in the 600 block of Independence and charged with possession of adult use cannabis in a vehicle and failure to signal. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
James Leo, 47, Joliet, was arrested at 8:33 p.m. on May 19 in the 300 block of Independence and charged with criminal trespass. He was released on $120 personal recognizance.

Edmanuel Morales, 32, Romeoville, was arrested at 8:33 p.m. on May 17 in the area of Belmont and Holden and charged with DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was transported to Will County Adult Detention Facility.
Yesenia Salgado, 35, Plainfield, was arrested at 8:08 a.m. on May 20 in the area of Romeo and Sunset Pointe for cellphone usage and driving while her license was suspended. She was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.
Lisa Lueders, 50, Lockport, was arrested at 10:39 p.m. on May 20 in the area of McKool and Kirmon Avenue and charged with driving when lights are required, DUI, and resisting a police officer. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.
Devontae Fox, 29, Romeoville, was arrested at 3:22 p.m. on May 20 in the area of the I-55 ramp and Weber Road and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. He was released on a $2,500 personal recognizance
Chad Selk, 32, Romeoville, was arrested at 5:56 p.m. on May 20 in the 0-100 block of Elgin Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting a peace officer, and unlawful use of a weapon. He was transported to Will County Adult Detention facility
Charles Gittens, 39, Joliet, was arrested at 12:24 p.m. on May 22 in the 200 block of Murphy Drive and charged with domestic battery. He was transported to Will County Adult Detention facility.
