DUI, Traffic Violations, In-State Warrants: Romeoville Police Blotter

The Romeoville Police Department made a number of arrests involving local residents who were charged with a variety of crimes.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The Romeoville Police Department made several arrests over the past week in connection with a variety of criminal charges including drunken driving, traffic violations, and in-state warrants against area residents.

Local residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

William Summers, 28, Romeoville, was arrested at 3:34 p.m. on April 4 in the area of Wespark Circle and Wespark Parkway and charged with making an improper turn, and failure to report an accident to the police, illegal transportation of alcohol, and drinking under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent to apply.

Johnnay Bailey, 21, Joliet, was arrested at 12:13 a.m. in the area of Dalhart and Corona and charged with speeding and driving with a suspended license. An I-Bond of $2,500 was set.

Amanda Salois, 23, Plainfield, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. on April 6 in the 400 block of Weber Road and charged with theft. They were released on $1,500 personal recognizance.

Jammal Richmond, 34, Aurora, was arrested on April 6 in the area of Weber Rd and Normantown and charged with aggravated speeding and driving with an expired registration. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.

Kevin Watkins, 60, Romeoville, was arrested at 8:52 p.m. on April 7 in the 600 block of Honeytree on an in-state warrant. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Antonio Amos, 61, Romeoville, was arrested at 5:06 a.m. on April 8 in the 0-100 block of Independence on an in-state warrant. A $7,500 cash bond was set with 10 percent to apply.

Michael Steer, 31, Chicago, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. on April 8 in the area of Romeo Road and Weber Road and charged with driving with one red taillight and possession of adult cannabis in a vehicle. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.

Tyshun Robertson, 26, Joliet, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. on April 10 in the area of Weber Road and Carillon and charged with speeding and driving while his license was suspended. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.

Markise McKinnis,40, Joliet, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. on April 10 in the area of Weber Road and

Normantown and charged with disobeying a traffic device, driving while license revoked, and an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $2500 personal recognizance for citations and $23,500 cash bond, 10 percent to apply for the warrants.

Martin Renteria, 21, Joliet, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. on April 11 in the area of Route 53 and Ridgewood and charged with improper lane usage and driving while his license was suspended. Bond was set at $2,500 with 10 percent to apply.

Ricky Munoz, 19, Plainfield, was arrested at 7:44 p.m. on April 11 in the area of Shenandoah and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance.

Stephanie McKinney 23, Des Plaines, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. on April 11 in the area of Route 53 and Belmont and charged with driving with an expired registration and driving while her license was suspended. He was released on a $2,500personal recognizance.

Netzair Zamora Solis, 30, Aurora, was arrested at 2:21 p.m. on April 12 in the 1300 block of North Weber Road and charged with unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $120.

Jacqueline Soto, 27, Joliet, was arrested at 9:04 p.m. on April 12 in the area of Zachary Drive and Bayles Drive on an in-state warrant. Bond was set at $25,000 with 10 percent to apply.

Edwin Ortiz, 19, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. on April 12 in the area of Whitmore and Teepee Lane for disobeying a stop sign and driving without a valid driver’s license. He was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.

Kimberly Walls, 54, Joliet, was arrested at 7:52 a.m. in the area of Weber Road and Normantown Road and charged with aggravated speeding in a construction zone. She was released on a $2,500 I-Bond.
