Fatal Romeoville Crash Kills 25-Year-Old Lisle Man: Coroner

James R. Keller was driving a motorcycle that collided with another vehicle on the 400 block of S. Weber Road, the coroner said.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — A 25-year-old man died in a crash in Romeoville Tuesday, the Will County Coroner's Office said in a release.

James R. Keller, of Lisle, was pronounced dead at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center ER in Joliet. The Romeoville Police Department responded at 1:48 p.m. to a two-vehicle crash at 451 S. Weber Road, Deputy Chief Brant Hromadka said.

"A Buick driven by a 64-year-old female from Romeoville was traveling east on the access drive from Weber Road. A Suzuki Sport motorcycle driven Keller was traveling north on the access road behind the Murphy Express service station," he said. "The vehicles collided in the intersection. The driver and passenger in the Buick were uninjured."

The Romeoville Police Traffic Unit is currently assigned to the investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, the coroner's office said.

The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy and toxicological reports.
